would anyone know what programming language manufactureres use when they make C.O.B (Chip-On-Board)watches.
I have to design a new type of multifunction digital watch, and would ratyher develop the functions in the same language, to avoid any confusion.

The chip will have a machine code unique to its design and manufacturer. The interface is probably JTAG. You will probably have to buy the chip, substrate, compiler and programmer from the same vendor. Most compilers use some sort of C derivitive (or can)

COB is a packaging technology intended for high volume, high density, low cost applications. Any chip is a candidate if the manufacturer offers bare dice as an option. In short runs it would be expensive due to setup charges. For smaller runs consider CSP packaging with epoxy underfill.
