The spammers on this board

It has been noted on the Twisted Pair forum (http://www.twysted-pair.com/cgi-bin/eboard40/index.cgi) that the name of the forum may attract search software for the ####3 ads. "Twisted" and "Nuts" are words often associated with such ilk, although I think that changing forum names is a bit drastic (especially when this one is actually associated with the magazine title). Just a thought on why it is.

this will be my first and last post on "SPAM"

I dont understand why there's so much of it here!

I've seen little or no spam on more frequently visited forums.. Maybe its the name.. but there was no spam before the new page layout...

The SPAM issue is ridiculous and need to be resolved.. shouldn't be that hard..

The problem isn't just here, it started at about the same time on a couple other forums I visit. Some jerk must have compiled a list of open forums and sold it to spamers.
