Hello folks,
This is more off topic, but i thought this info could be useful for
others here too.
Recently i had to 'repair' a sub sandwich i purchased from PathMark.
What happened was originally i bought two subs from them late
one night when they went on sale. I brought them home and over
the next three days ate them both...they were quite good for only
$2.49 each.
A week or so later i went back and they had two more sitting out
there so i picked up two more....again for the same low price.
Now, i get home and cut part of one off to eat it and wow, they
switched the type of ham they used from regular boiled ham to
some crappy 'smoked' ham... wow what a bad tasting sub!
A few days later i ran to the quick store and picked up a pound
of boiled ham...came home, took out the bad tasting ham,
replaced it with fresh 'real' boiled ham, and also replaced the
tomato slices and old lettuce they used with fresh stuff.
WOW...i had a great sub sandwich again!!!
Thus, the sub sandwich had been repaired LOL.
The moral of the story? Dont believe that what you buy one day
will be made the same way next time you go to buy it. Companies
are sneaky this way these days with many types of products including
food and parts.
I hope this cheers up your day a little as after the repair my day
was much better

Ha ha
dac, if it came with batteries they would probably run it for 3 minutes then
need replacement.
Chris, by the looks of that rusty lettuce, im beginning to think China is
where Pathmark has their subs made, and it takes a week to get there in
shipping.
jwax, not sure what you mean there.
JPK, Pathmark should supply a manual with those subs for the correct handling
of HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL !! haaaaaaaaaa!
Yeah maybe cheaper to buy a new, but then again with the new parts i got i
was (and still am) able to make a few more totally new products too
Yeah, shipping was minimal as the local Quick Chek had all the parts i needed,
luckily, and i also lucked out on a few other parts i needed for making coffee
that they were not back ordered on
