A lot of the DTMF tones are starting clues for different machines. They use them as starting clues, timming clues, motor clues etc. Its an old way to put a simple memory clue attached to a film. Even studios use this to start things.

rember teddy ruxpin ? the animated teddy bear doll from the early 80's?
he used tones also ,to clue different movements. the tape player inside it was actually a stereo tape player, one channel was the voice, and the other channe was the code track,, there was a few other dolls that had same effects way back when.....

JPKNHTP,

I noted your signature line about Chick-Fil-A. I've never been to one as they are not any of them near me. I've seen their ads, if it is the place I'm thinking of. (I believe they have billboards with cows saying "Eat mor chkin".)

In any case they must be something good if you put this in your signature. What can you say about them? Do they serve sandwiches or actual fried chicken like the Colonel?

Taste facts, several of soo many..... and just FYI

Super tasters hate salt.

2 out of ten people think the opposite of every one else as far as taste?

They think its too sweet, too salty, too bitter or too what ever,....while the rest are content.

Super tasters can taste the heat in 250,000 parts of fluid, to one part of hot capsicum. [Actually up to one million]

[Hence the Scoville heat unit]

Not every one is the same when it comes to taste, and no one is wrong.
