By replying, or even viewing, an obvious spam (because view count is reported) we are encouraging spam. Just don't!

Taking a squat where squat is due, tells a whole story.

Dreaming otherwise empowers a moron.

With the "old" forum software we had a "REPORT" button to alert the administrators.

Can this be implemented in the new one so we can give the alarm when we find a spam post?

Can the admins here enable email confirmation (requires link in email to be clicked on before account is activated)?

Rub their nose in it every day, they will get the message that they are losers and eventually go away.

Don't we have a moderator that can delete spam posts?

Yep, Chris has one of his best ideas ever. Flame the bots. I'm sure they have a "shame" line of code in the program somewhere. They will get the message that they are losers and eventually go away. Absolutely briliant!
This is the kind of deep thinking that makes this forum top notch.

I was out of line with my last post. Too long a day a day and no sense of humor. My apologies, Chris.

Place your head in the sand, yep, it will all just go away?

FYI Michael is busy and needs a mention at times, lest the spam stays for a day or two.

Spoil their every day, don’t let them have an inch, and if punishment is their thing, give it to them.

If you must answer, make it always bad for them.

Ignore them and become a typical voter or politician, Silent except for your bleat.

We have found a couple of MODS that we will attempt to try that is suppose to make it harder for spam posts - so far from what I read about it, it seems to work. So we will be doing some testing on it in the next couple days - Please be patient with us while we make our attempts to kill the SPAM.

Thanks.
