can't beat the price!
uses python and, on windoze, runs in a dos box. it seems lind of clunky at first but once you get it set up, it's really very easy. You have to fuss a bit with your gerber output settings and how gerbmerge interprets them.
what I particularly liked about it was, while setting it up and tweaking it, I learned a lot about gerbers. before they were a black-box. now I have a pretty solid understanding of them (and see some pretty stupid limitations).
