New Forum Options

Post by Michael Kaudze »

FYI -

We will be adding more options to this forum as time goes on. Here are a couple of options we are currently working on:

1. Ability to Upload pictures to an Image Archive so you will not have to link the images from another website. You will be able to upload them right into your post.

2. More themes will be added to your profile. This way you can choose what you want the forum to look like.

We are also looking into changing the New Post Icons. New themes will be added soon.

Thanks.

What time Zone are you on, and why is your clock always out?

My clock reads 4:13 pm, 31st of march.

IS there any way, any way at all to reduce the number of clicks and scrolling to get to the most recent post in a multi-page thread? This used to be inherent in the "view active topics" display.

Finally Got my GMT right, but back to the original question, why is your clock soo wrong?

The hours were not the question but rather the minutes were always out but many, 10, 20 etc?

time check

(edit) I wanted to see what time the post showed compared to the time my PC shows without time taken to type a long reply. It is off by exactly one hour. But, I know what the problem is. European Daylight Saving Time takes effect on a different Sunday than in the U.S. Currently my time is GMT +3, during Standard Time it is GMT +2. My one hour error will be fixed today as the U.S. changes to DST.

For my next test I'll open a Post Reply and wait 5 minutes to Submit.

time check - delay to submit

(edit) nope, OK. Time that the Submit button is clicked is used.

Chris,

From what you described in your posts above, I suggest that you set your PS's date, time, and time zone. There is also a zone setting in your profile on this forum.

I found in the PAST,..... that their clock was always off by some weird amount of minutes?

The Greenwich time is now their standard, but lets hope they Re-set their clock like we all do, when its really way off and annoying.
