i am looking for a source for the NE 570 used for the "blab buster" in the feb issue of N&V.
a source of a complete kit would be even better.

The NE570D is available from Allied Electronics (www.alliedelec.com). Their web site lists it as $4.85 for quantities of 1-24. They have ~1,713 in stock. Unfortunately, they have a $50 minimum order.
