What makes a super bright LED different from a normal brightness LED? Thanks.

Re: Yet another LED question
Color for starters.
A blue led has ten times the usable visible light of a red LED, simply because the human Eye response is greater to blue than to the color Red
Larger dies within the led that consume more power, and techniques for exciting the material much like a laser diode, accounts for the brighter LEDS of the same color.
Like the FET revolutionized the transistor, so does construction design of the die material, and doping, ..... for the led.
And there is even Fluorescence hapening inside some LEDs.
