The input to out put voltage differential is acritical parameter in maintaining current limiting operation(read data sheet carefully)Als o bipolar transistors are tricky to get them to track current sharing,a length of ni-chrome wire can be used as an emitter resistor,you then clip it a short length at atime to balance the current thru each device,heat sink goo is also a must a
s keeeping the device flat,even if it involves sanding the bottom of the transistor smooth![*]
