Calculating relay coil current

Post by cheapNdisgusting »

I think I am doing this right but before soldering I want to check.
I have a 24vdc relay. The coil measures 1.052K ohms. Using Ohms law I come up with a coil that will draw 22ma. Right?
Same question - different relay. 9vdc. relay, and the coil measures 211 ohms. I come up with 42 ma. Right?
Thanks in advance
