Recommendation requested: microcontroller with built in

Post by chrizbo »

Hi everyone.
I am looking around and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a microcontroller that has the following:
* Built in USB support.
* Powered by USB alone.
* Can control flash memory up to 256kb (or has it built in).
* Not huge.
* Can be ordered in smaller batches (~10-20).
Any recomendations would be excellent. Thanks!
chrizbo

Have a look at the AN2131SC from Cypress it's an advanced 8051 type controller with a seperate onchip USB port.
The complete development kit including two controllers + Keil 'C' compiler is I think, U$400.00. Not too sure how much the individual chips are though.
www.cypress.com/cfuploads/img/products/AN2131SC.pdf
Now when Microchip get their finger out with the 18F version we'll be cooking!
colin
