M.L. shannon had previously published an article on ho to make a listen down telephone amplife-
now that i am interested in one, i no longer have the article.
Would someone describe how to make one?
Mr.Shannon, if you read this post, please take it as a compliment that i want to build one of your projects
listen down telephone amplifer
Re: listen down telephone amplifer
Hi.
Find ANY audio output transformer and connect the low impedance winding in SERIES to ONE of the telephone line wires.
Connect the other winding to two 1N4001 diodes in reversed parallel and to your stereo AUX input.
If you want to build the amplifier, ANY circuit that you can find will work, such as the ones using a LM386 integrated circuit. Look at its datasheet for applications.
