To what does this need to be amplified? With a supply of +- 15 V, you can achieve around +- 13V from the amp. So thats 6V to 13V<p>Does this help??

What are you driving, a horn or siren? What power supply is available? 6VAC into an 8 ohm speaker is about 4.5 watts, that is pretty loud, how loud do you want it? You may be using an inefficient speaker. A 100 watt speaker needs 10 watts to make any sound at all.
