Semiconductor curve tracer for TEK TM50x module

Post by rodd »

Hello,
I posted this topic some time ago and Dean Huster replied saying that he has modified a 5CT1N for that purpose and that he would send me some information soon.
Well, time has passed, I have bought a 5CT1N and its operating manual, but I received no information.
Then I am thinking in trying by myself, but one mistake and I can damage my very hard to find 5CT1N ($150!!).
My first question is the following:
The output to the vertical section has a +signal and a - signal.
How do I combine them in one signal to be used as the scope input?
Thank you.

I'm sorry, Rogerio. I've been really bad! I've been so up to my eyeballs in other projects (mostly of the "honey-do" variety) that I've not had any time for the "fun" stuff in life. I'll go back right now and start scanning stuff to e-mail to you to get you started.
My apologies. Broken promises really suck, don't they?
Dean
