5 sided semi enclosures

Post by rosborne »

Looking for some almost boxes to mount to lab benches. I want to mount BNC barrels to one side for easy access to reference signals. The open side is where the cables would come in to connect to the barrels. They need to look kind of nice or I'd just get a 90 degree bracket and put the barrels in that. Any leads? I looked at Hoffman, which are too specialized and expensive. I just need names . . . and I'll do the rest. Thanks.

An inexpensive source for electronics enclosures is LMB:
http://www.lmbheeger.com/
Happy hunting.

A slope front enclosure would probably look good as a control panel. You can have the back opened up and some come with removable panels. In addition to LMB (aka LMB Heeger)also look at Bud Boxes, Serpac and Hammond enclosures. These are often stocked at many electronics retailors. I also think http://www.8020.net/ has some cool stuff if you want something a little bigger.
Chris
