CD Drive/Player parts

Does anyone know if there is a manufacturer or distributor that sell parts for cdrom players.
(like the portable audio cd players)<p>I crunched the plastic case on my unit and
I am find replacement parts to salvage it.

These things are throwaway units, not intended to be repaired, so no one supplies parts. If it is made in the USA and still in production you may get parts from the manufacturer. If it is made in Bangledesh, there is no way you are going to get an original part. If you can find someone who has a defunct unit, he might part with it cheap.
