Hi everybody,
Why is it when you are picking up a lot of interference on a radio and whenever you touch the anteanna the signal clears right up? I am thinking that the impedance of the anteanna does not match up with that of the anteanna input.
Thanks
Bryon

Touching the antenna changes the impedance of it, and you being a large body of water and now a large mass of antenna and all, .....Static is like little BBs against Goliath, .....they hit your large water mass and don’t affect it much.
Meaning you absorb the static and it doesn’t move you at all unlike the lightweight antenna, and heterodyne circuitry which is ultra sensitive.
