Unusual Blue LED source

Post by Edd »

Seems like Wally World has some of the rubber? flip-flop slippers/thongs that utilize the common wishbone thong to hold them on.. The vinyl thong is almost clear/thus/ translucent and encased within….equi- spaced … are 5 hi intensity blue T1 LEDS .The battery and LED's velocity switch are internal to each shoe element. A ½ inch longitudinal slit at the base of either thong entry will permit a surgical snipping of the wire pair (tubal ligation :D )at one end and make a hook wire entry at the other end for a pulling out of the string of LED’s /wiring and then lastly, a final repair of the short vinyl slits made.
Cost: $5 small-----$6 Titan size footprint.
Yield 10 blue hi brite T1 LED’s + your flip flops.
73's de Edd

Hi Edd. You have to wait for the shoes to go on clearance :-)
That's 50 cents an LED. You can get them with less work for 50 cents/each:
.here
Of course, no shoes (I hesitate to call them flip flops around here).
