Question about output current on VDD for a BS2
I have another question regarding logic power.
For my project, I need 5v for logic voltage for a motor driver that requires 36mA, and also 5v to power my receiver that requires 19mA.
Do you think it would work if I hooked in both the logic voltage on the motor driver, and my receiver into VDD for power, or would they put too much stress on the BS2?
I tried looking on Parallax's website but couldn't find VDD's output current.
Thanks for your help,
Jason

From my rather old BS1/II manual...
"When the BS2 is active it draws approx 8mA. Since U4 [the 5v regulator] can provide up to 50mA the majority of its capacity is available for powering your custom circutry"
It sounds like you'd be pushing it.

"if it's not another it's one thing."
