12V 30Amp Power Supply Changes

I found this 12V power supply on the internet. It clams to supply 30Amps. My very stupid question would be this. HOW WOULD BEHAVE THIS CIRCUIT IF I REMOVED THE LM7812C REGULATOR and instead of dc 12V I would use 12AC?
