HELLO CHRIS I MUST HAVE WRITTEN THAT WRONG PIN 2 CLOCK INHIBIT IS TIED TO THE GROUND BUS.PIN 1 TO CARRY OUT OF IC 1, PIN 3 DISPLAY ENABLE IN TIED HIGH. IM WONDERING IS THER SOME TYPE OF CONNECTION THAT NEEDS TO BE MADE FROM THE DISPALY ENABLE OUT PIN OF IC 1 TO THE SECOND IC. IF U HAVE A SCHEMATIC ON HOW THIS IC IS CASCADED I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF U COULD GET ME A COPY.

I don't have an available schematic with cascading 4026s, but you might want to look at this data sheet...<p>http://www.megatronics.lk/data/4000/hcf4026.pdf<p>This has another, more legible approach than the other sheet. Just look at the timing diagram on page 5 of the .pdf file, and it should be pretty straightforward. Happy hunting.
