Sound Recording Chip

I want to record several short sound bits (up to about 30 seconds) and be able to selectively play them back. What are some of the best ways of doing this? Where is a good place to get the sound chips? Pricing information? Etc. Thanks

Sometimes the surplus houses carry them though a quick check of all and goldmine didn't turn anything up. Ramsey has a kit, iirc.<p>Phil

For all most all of the projects I do with sound I use blue point engineering you should be able to find what you need here.<p>web page<p>But if you want the diy approach try the ISD chips, I built a kit using the ISD4003 and was pleased with it.
