Ok Guys,<p>Thanks for the help. I decided to go with one second on the hold time for the selonoid.<p>Now another.. When the gate opens by its weight, it is pretty much balanced so it will open and close with a lite touch. It opens and stops against another selonoid. It is pushed closed by this one when it is energized. I want to be able to activate the close selonoid wireless remote up to 50 to 100 yrds. Is there a transmiter and reciever some where with this range and a reciever that has an output for a relay that can be purchased? Or is there a site that has a schematic that I can build the system.<p>Thanks.<p>Rogerdodger
