What's a simple circuit for low voltage cut-off?
I'm thinking of several circuits. One [li-ion] 3 volt low; 4 volt high. Another with a minimum of 12 volts.

for the 12V application, there are tons of relay controlled modules on ebay but they consume a fair amount of current on their own especially the relay based ones. I tried to implement some in a car to power off the audio amps when running on battery if it got too low but they tend to kill the battery on their own if left parked too long.

For the low voltage applications, search digikey for "PMIC" Supervisors or power management ICs. Here is one example that can be coupled wit a FET or Relay (they offer 7 different output pin types). Dig down to the Linear App notes related to this product line and you should find some application circuits.

Besides Linear Technologies, IDT, Analog and TI should also have ICs in this category as well as a bunch of smaller companies. App notes are their way of explaining how to use their products, always look for those.

Thanks for the video. I will definitely use it for my personal experience.
