Death Rattle?

Post by Lenp »

I just spent considerabe time on the Nuts & Volts magazine site. It is no wonder we are dying, there is NO obvious mention of this forum. There are loads of links to the magazine articles and their print 'tech forum' I went there because someone I mentioned this forum to could not find us, and I also had great dificulty finding it untill I clicked that obscure MORE... box and found us hidden on a sidebar. I would think we could get better placement on their site, unless, they want us to continue to whither away!

it would be nice if the Q&A section was included in here also. and there is another section, i cant remember the name of it.. but they are in the magazine only. and like you said,, this forum is not made obvious in the magazine either.

I noticed this too...

I have this forum "Bookmarked" in FireFox.
So, I don't have to try and navigate the though the home page to get here.

But I agree, that since the site went through a "Make over" a few years ago.
It seems that T&L Publishing has been trying to degrade these forums, in favor of the more AD driven side of the website.

Hey guys, we've put an ad in a few spots on the website to try and drive some new traffic here. We've also included one in the latest print magazine issue we are working on. You can view the website ad on the home page of our website (you might have to refresh as the ad slots rotate the different ads), or click on any of the categories on the top toolbar and it appears on the right hand column.

Sorry,

Haven't heard anything from him since 2017.
Hope he's still okay.
