Hello there,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too, and all members of this forum.

Let's hope this year is a good one. For me it is a year of reorganizing my electronic parts and i've started already. So far invested over 150 bucks (USD) in storage containers of different types.

Mr.Al,
Indeed we are curious creatures. Most of what I produce needs a big variety of locally unavailable parts, and many wholesalers make it encouraging to buy more then needed, so the inevitable junk box bulges. I have bought storage boxes, made labels and then bought shelving; all at great expense, to store the residuals that I probably will never use.

So, here's my plan for 2018.
I will pack the 'stuff' in cardboard boxes, sealed tight and place a label on the upper right corner of the box with the storage date.
In one year, if the box has not been opened, will I throw it out?
Nay, I'll change the date and find a new place to hide it!
Sounds like a plan to me! :idea:

Hoping all us kids got what they were hoping for this Christmas! (if you've been nice all year!)
The only plan I found that works for not enough storage space is to buy more space. Time to move! :)
Happy New Year all!

Happy Holidays every one!

Sorry to hear your fighting GOUT dacflyer. :sad:

It hasn't been that good of a year for me either. :sad:
Had to be hospitalized for 3 days for a septic infection. :sad:
I then found out I had hypertension, as well as varicose veins in both legs. :sad:
Now I'm on Blood Pressure Med's & I have to wear Compression Socks. :sad:

{It's h*ll getting old.}

Speaking of old parts......
I've got drawers of old Transistors, Diodes, IC's, and assorted parts.
Some New Old Stock, but mostly PCB pulls.

{I'm tempted too get a hold of one of "We Buy Old Components" sites and maybe sell off some of it.}
Though, if I didn't have a certain switch in my storage draws. I couldn't of fixed my 9" band saw. :razz:
Hmmm..........

No complaints, but I'll open with...
Lymphoma, 2 heart attacks and blocked arteries, kidney stones, cataract surgery, atril fib, lung nodules, chronic sinus infections, and full dental replacements...
Still run my business, pay taxes and wonder...What's next.

My night prayers include ..."And please let me live long enough to make the stickers for their big yard sale😐

Happy holiday to all that are still hanging around here. That's 365 more sunrises and sunsets behind us, and my sincere hopes for many more.
