Beautifly done! I've no urge to have one, but very attractive. (My occasional, on paper only, project is sort-of LED grandfather clock (circle of 60 and circle of 12 LEDs). Red, orange and yellow LEDs never seemed "classy" enough for livingroom. Maybe blue and green, relatively dim ....

Back in 1980 I had a 1960s vintage Triplett scope that would have looked great on. the chassis was nearly all copper and looked cool without the cover on (yes, it was tube based). It was too heavy when I moved out west and the folks junked it on me.

speaking of clocks i built a led clock that was said to never work,,,but yet it does.
it is crude, but i probably can improve it..if i wanted to.
it has over 215 leds if i remember right.
the seconds is a single row of 60 Green leds.
the minuets consist of 2x 60 of blue leds
and the hours are 12x 3 red leds
the whole clock uses 4017's decade counters nothing else.. the 1st 2 set the 1sec timing sampled from 60Hz.ac
the next 2 are for the seconds, the next 2 the minuets, and the last 2 are for the hours.
looks really good , the face plate is polished aluminum in a wooden frame.
friend of mine water jetted the holes for me 5mm
posted is a few pictures of it..

Outstanding collection, dacflyer!
Had a homebuilt EICO 5" scope that worked great until I tripped on the line cord, and sent it to the concrete floor.

This was ancient history- happened in the 60's. Besides the broken CRT and a few tubes, the front panel was mangled. I did fix it years later, and it could have won the "Ugliest O-Scope" contest!
