I haven't visited their forum before, but the parent site has some awesome resources - basically a full open-source electronics textbook

Been checking out edaboard and eevblogs lately. Daily activity there. Does seem the nuts and volts is dying out after all.

The eevblog site has this Australian fellow who is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Only been cruising that site for a few days, but I feel a renewed interest in electronics. He has these videos in which people mail him items from all around the world, and he tears them down to show the components. Very concise in his explanations but at the same time very humorous and uplifting.

Edaboard is a site very similar to this one but very active, EEVblog is described as one of the largest electronic forums in the world I believe. The forums are extremely active and the Engineer who runs the site has uploaded somewhere in the neighborhood of 800 videos. Everything from tearing down oscilloscopes to product reviews.
