 Here's a good website for installation tools to make the job way easier. http://www.sandman.com/LVtemplate.html#CHM3O, he also sells a 4 hour DVD with all sorts of hints and tricks of the trade. He has has a 1 hour highlight f the video on YouTube, you can find it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTC_jc53RMY.

I hope that this helps you out.

If I never have to pull wire again, it will be too soon.

Everyone in the audience has a WiFi-enabled personal listening device in their pocket. Ditch the acoustic system and stream the audio to everyone directly.

Never again will the sound man have to endure too loud/couldn't hear gripes from people sitting in the same room.

No way that WiFi would work! Not at least in today's world.
voice emergency announcement systems are required in many public locations. Using WiFi and expecting 'everyone' to be able to have them in use would be unacceptable. In a concert. That could be an option but with the SPL's expected from the 'sound machines' I doubt it would be popular.
