Really? Can you tell us how you did that, and what
kind of savings you obtained?
Just put quite big magnet but neodymium on water meter, it should be stopped if you open a tap. You have water for free. Other meters you can only slow down.

You can buy them also at e-bay, in several dimensions and shapes. I have disc magnets 2x1 joined together

So if the meter is stopped, how does the local water
board (or company) know how much to charge you
each quarter?

They do not know real usage, that's main idea!
You use more and pay for less. Don't use magnet all time, because water board see that and ask don't you wash your body for couple of weeks? he he

Oh, it's stealing! And by posting here you're trying to add conspiracy to steal to the charges.

You want everone else to pay your bills, because in the end it has to be paid for.

You are [dirty words left out]

If my employer didn't know the 'real useage' (as you put it) of my work
hours, there's a chance I'd be under paid. Or, my employer would be
paying me for hours I didn't work. That would be dishonest.

I could go to the local bank and take their money for myself, would
you suggest I do?

That makes no sense...
