Hi Wayne.
Look for modern defunct cars at the boneyard, and canibalize the fuse box for many relay sockets at a time. Usually already populated with the relays. Then, the hack saw to segregate the fuse holders. Or keep those in circuits.

Hi frhrwa ....

If you can be a bit more specific, maybe I can cobble something up for you since I do a lot of one-of-a kind work.
Think about relay current rating, circuit board or other mechanical mounting, plug in relays or board mounted, plug in wiring connector, or terminal strip, any power buss, fuse protection, space limitations ....and whatever else?????

will do, working on a schematic drawing now explaining it all.. have to find out the current draw on Cadillac seat motors.. otherwise, basically spdt relays, one for each motion.. so it takes 12 relays per side.. the original switches have a common and the movement control leads.. will get back with the picture and more info..

I found a bunch of relays/sockets in an old ambulance. Depending on brand, this was a Ford van type, the relay console was located in an compartment above the drivers head. Not an easy find if you don't know this. Wrecking yard owner said county ambulance service won't buy used parts to put on ambulance, liability issue. They all have inverters, this one, a 500w sine wave..

That won't work as shown, trace the paths...
At idle, as shown, one side of the motor is on +DC and one is on ground so it should run
If the upper relay is energized the motor is on positive on both sides
If the lower relay is energized the motor is on ground on both sides

(You need 2PST 2 pole single throw normally open, relays not 1PDT 1 pole double throw)

Didn't we do this a while ago, and I sent a drawing?
