Looking for H Bridge driver

Post by ian »

I'm looking for a good half or full bridge driver preferably available at digikey.

"Good", as in, infinite current, impervious to overloads, small footprint, and costs about 5 cents.
It should also do laundry when I'm out.

But barring that.........

Electronically simple, just on/off.
Short circuit and overheat overload protection.
Won't sink when source is on.
2 0r 3 Amps.
through hole like a 220 package.

I saw the L298 but the specs are hard to read and aren't clear.

Hi Ian,

Take a look at bridge drivers from IR. That's their main business: Power MOSFETs, drivers, app notes, tech tips.
