Does Nut & Volts have a place where you can comment on articles?

Some years back there was an article on measuring the speed of light that I always wanted to comment on. There were typos in the data table and the technique spent a lot of time dealing with gate delays when it wasn't necessary.

In the most recent N&V, the article on the Bat Detector has at least two error in the circuit layout in Figure 5.

Not that I know of, but I had mentioned that to the editors once or twice. As an author for several articles in N&V, I wanted a place for readers to go for questions, advise and auxiliary data that gets cut because of space considerations. As a matter of fact, I don't recall seeing READER FEEDBACK any more. Some readers responded to several of my articles there, but again space considerations did not allow enough print to really delve into an adequate discussion. Maybe if more readers asked the editors for say a separate heading in this forum,they might consider it.

I believe that the Projects and Kits section is what they intended to
use in that vein. See:

There have been some posted there, but not many use it. Why not
start a thread or two with your comments. Maybe it will spark some
interest with others. Hopefully the authors are members here (Who
wouldn't be? It's free...) and will read them. As a matter of fact, I
think that any author printed in N&V should be a member here in order
to take care of just such situations. And when a correction is mandated,
it should be put in the print version.

Just an FYI, Reader Feedback is still in N&V.
This month's edition (June 2011) = pgs. 9, 76, 77.

Yes Caesar, I posted just prior to viewing this months issue and lo and behold , there was the Reader Feedback Section. Although prior to this I had not seen any for quite a while .On your previous post, were you inferring that authors start a thread here so as to welcome questions on prior articles? Was not sure I understood you clearly on that.

It is something that this half-dead forum should be used for. It wouldn't hurt if the forum bosses made several forum catgegories or sections other than what's here. A section where articles can be discussed along with author/reader interaction. We were just getting to doing stuff like that with the Gernsback forum when Gernsback went belly-up.

Not quite what I meant. I mean that the author should
belong to the forum and check in every so often so as
to see if any questions arise re: (article name here).

It would be a good way to keep everyone interested in
the article, in touch. And, it would help push along any
remediation in design or publication, or even in personal
construction of said article, which, could lead to print
publication of the remediation/redesign/construction help.
