Trying to find a MOSFET

Post by cpbiomed »

Guys,

I am looking to purchase an International Rectifier MOSFET IRFP27N60K and I am having a difficult time. Does anyone have a source for these, or a substition for for?

Thanks!

Hi.
Listed with Mouser and Digikey, show stock zero; call them to find out date for future stock.

WHat I would do is first print out the datasheet for the IRFP27N60K or the page from Digikey summarizing the specs
http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSea ... &x=22&y=20

Next I would go to the Digikey home page and search on FET, click on the corrisponding link for FET single and start filling in the search engine.

Start with the prime specs VDSS=600V, IDss=27A etc. Do them one at a time and select a few values above and below what you want if you don't get anything back. at at 26A I find a few 26N60 that will probably do.

I guess you should also keep in mind the RDs-on value. Get as close a match as you can.
