old copies of EEM

Post by haklesup »

Does anybody have an old copy of the EEM books. These were a 3 volume set typically and similar to the IC Master books. They are published by Hearst. I need a copy of 2 pages near the front of volume 1 showing part commodity codes for various types of components and assemblies.

If anyone has one, let me know and I'll try to direct you to what I need.

Thanks, H

Nothing is listed as commodity codes.
The product selection guide lists products with a 4 digit number
for various product groups.
Sorry.

I have a 2003 EEM In Vol A there are some codes...

6000 Wire,Cable,Cord Sets

About 50 codes in all.

If you still want the commodity codes they appear to be the same as
the product codes used in the earlier editions.
If Lenp's edition lists (2003) are commodity codes mine 1987/88 lists the same
as product codes. Sorry just a terminology change. If you still want these codes
let me know and I'll try to copy same.

Yes, please scan those pages and send them to me at haklesup at comcast dot net

That sounds like what I am looking for.

many years ago, we set up an MRP system that used those codes as the root for our part numbers. As we migrate to a new MRP software, it would be nice to see the source of the part numbering system again in case we want to add more part types. We're not likely to renumber based on the effort that takes
