Hi all
How complex would it be to make one of those photo-camera SD, XD, etc. memory card readers to output the images in composite NTSC video, SXGA, or high definition digital video? ----> NO compfusers involved !

Re: Memory card reader with video outputs ?
yyyyyes... ... those digital photo frames - with no frame.
To use your wall hanged TV as a frame. One Rembrandt at a time, 1,920x1,080 pixels.

Re: Memory card reader with video outputs ?
Hmmm. Found how they are named : multimedia players; cheap enough to not bother building what exists.

Re: Memory card reader with video outputs ?
If you're using a TV as the picture frame and want to avoid spending money on your project most DVD and even Blu-Ray players will perform a slideshow if you insert a DVD, CD or Blu-Ray disc loaded with pictures.
I know you said memory card but I thought I'd mention the above just in case you didn't know it was a possibility. The discs are cheap enough now you can burn them every few weeks (or hours for that matter) to add new pics.

Re: Memory card reader with video outputs ?
Miguel- That box won't give you your NTSC video, but will supply digital video to a TV in a variety of formats.
I've been looking for a small (9-11"), battery powered LCD video monitor (NTSC) for awhile now.
Office Max just came out with 7" and 9" LCD TV's, battery powered, with NTSC video input. $140 for the 9".

Hello John.
Two days ago I bought a 7" TV for $79 at CVS pharmacy; has video inputs, built-in Li-ion and remote control. Brand is Prism, works well so far in my kitchen.

Thanks Miguel! That's quite a list! Those Bolands are out of sight expensive, but some you listed will do just fine!
