Re: Electronic Books

Post by cconn86031 »

Thanks to everybody for the help and I aprreciate the welcome to the forum. I already subscribe to Nuts and Volts. Heathkit is alive and well and they have a full educational program starting with the basics to the more advanced, I don't know what the courses cost because I haven't contacted them yet, but if anyone knew if they were any good would help. Here is a list of the books and things I have now.
1. Getting started in electronics By: Forrest Mimms
2. Teach yourself Electricity and Electronics By: Stan Gibilisco
3. Electronics Self Teaching Guide By: Kybett and Boysen
4. Maxitronics 500 in 1 Lab Kit.
5. Weller WESD51 Soldering Iron ( Not used yet)
I had seen the Horwitz book on Amazon, but had not bought it yet, but after one of you mentioned it I well get it.
If anyone has any more ideas or suggestions lit me know.
Thanks Charles Connelly
