E-Cig question

Hi all,
I know this is a hobby forum, but I've been hanging here for so many years that I trust you guys! I've been hearing about, and even seeing those new fangled electronic cigarettes. I've checked out a few sites, but am wondering if anyone has actually tried one yet. Looks like a smoker could save some bucks this way, and avoid most of the other bad stuff (tar, etc.). It's not exactly cheap to get started though, if I wasn't to follow through with it. Hey, it's a gadget in my book, so I figure it is worth bringing up here on this forum.
Does anyone have any first-hand experience with these? Thanks!
