New Wireless Technology

Post by mrdon219 »

Hi Electronics Enthusiasts,

There's a new wireless mesh technology that's quite easy to use and it doesn't consume significant amount of power from a standard pair of AAA or AA batteries. The technology allows programs to be changed "On The Fly" or "Over The Air" and doesn't require a programming cable such as RS232 or USB to make changes. I've written 2 Application Notes to explore this wireless mesh technology. By the way, the IEEE wireless communication protocol the SNAP Technology developed by Synapse-Wireless is based on the 802.15.4 standard ZigBee uses and is quite easy to use. Additional information via the Application Notes may be found at my blog http://www.family-science.net/Blog.htm. I'm looking at a variety of applications to explore the use of this cool wireless technology via a lab manual I'm currently writing.

Regards
