I am getting back into b&w photography
in the april 1974 issue or popular electronics , there was an article by Joseph giannelli
" auto photo enlarger controller"
using a FET and a '555 and a photo resistor,
it controls a photo enblarger to give
automatic exposure.
I built one back then and i believe it worked
properly. I would like to try this again. and
automate printing photos.
This is a timer and not just an exposure meter.
it sees the light and turns the enlarger on and off. looks like a $20.00 project.
does anyone have any interest or knowledge about this. I do have a xerox of the opiginal article.
[email protected]

If its just a timer, A EGG timer modified with a switch will do the job for less than 10 bucks. To increase the resolutiion of the timer, a large dial will do that. The bigger the dial, the more hair splitting you can do.
