New LED TV's

Post by MrAl »

Hi there,

Anyone see the new LED TV's yet, i think only made by Samsung?

Bad thing is it looks like they only come in 40 inch and up. What about smaller?

MrAl, although I've yet to see one up close, you have to credit Samsung with some creative and entertaining promo videos:

Hi again,

Yes, that sheep video was one of the coolest videos i've ever seen.
I watched it twice
Very good idea yes. Couldnt have been easy to do either.

Does it use the Canon/Hitachi SED technology?

I was really looking forward to those sets, until they had the marketing squabble wihtin the consortium, and of course production difficulties with anything less than 40" screens.

Hi again,

I myself dont know what technology they use.
I immediately thought of one that was around 22 inch, but they dont seem to make them
that small. Too bad, i would bet people would like to get them.
Maybe the technology is just not there yet for areas that small.
