Perhaps. Talk of gov pushing technology definitely has its own season.

I knew it was all my fault, just needed a know-it-all
to set me straight.

Please spend a few minutes of your generous and
valuable time bringing the dullards such as myself
up to speed. Clearly we now have an expert in the
room.

(1) You made the opening remark (re: gov driving technology)
(2) You made claims about LCD HDTV technology
(3) While these may be your opinion(s), you've veered off topic
(4) You have not backed up anything you have said
(5) While this is a semi-private hobby forum, its not a political soap box
(6) If you posts don't have technical merit, please refrain from posting

I'm interested to hear your side of the argument, with citations
to supporting materials I can read for myself. Or, are you just
blowing smoke?

Uh, could we all calm down? Please? I don't think anyone is completely clean on this one. Including me.

My apologies for bringing up something that I could see would not end up properly in anyone’s favor. That is why I did not continue in further arguments. And I do not think it would help if we cannot look at the subject of conflict.
It had technical merit it would just not work its way to an agreement that I expected.
Sorry!

I'm sorry, My post was supposed to read:
CeaSaR should have wrote:

CeaSaR
I should have caught that sooner.

(wrote should be written, but I do not have control over auto-formatting)

Again, my apologies. That play on words was not directed at anyone other than my own government.

CeaSaR
Hey, what do I know?
