What ever happened to the very interesting CS?

Chris Smith last visited the forum on 3 Sep 2007 10:52 pm. I just wondered why he finally quit arguing with everyone here.
I'm sure a few people miss him such as Robert R etc..LOL

"miss" isn't the right word. He was banished for being a .... jerk. He was also making unsafe suggestions, including AC power wiring. He could have got someone killed if they believed him.

Please don't mention him again.

All of the arguing that went on during that time. It was kind of silly really though.
Chris had a lot of good ideas too though so i wish he was still around.
I dont think anyone else would want that though

I think you may be the only one that misses him Al. He lived to argue, his ideas were more nutty than not and he seemed to have an axe to grind about everything - especially other people. His unsafe suggestions were the worst. He could never admit he was wrong so would argue endlessly that his bad ideas were actually good. There were a number of us that couldn't let safety issues fade away. He took away far more than he contributed.

He snuck back in under a different name but it was pretty obvious who it was.

It may not be as lively since he departed but it's a better place.

Perhaps so but he lacked the diplomatic and communication skills to properly express those ideas. Ironically, the board U/G may have reactivaterd his acct, note the user list.

another person that has not been here in a long time is EDD Watley , i do not know what has happened to him either..he used to be very helpful here as well..
