PCI Bus 1
PCI Bus 1
I have the ATI Radeon 7200 video card. Its an AGP card at 4x. The bios is set correctly for AGP and I checked adapter properties and it had it listed under PCI Bus 1. Is there something wrong with that being listed under PCI or is it just using the same bus as the others?
Re: PCI Bus 1
where is it being listed under PCI in BIOS or under System Properties in Wondose?<p>Having said that, what you see is correct Location 1 PCI Bus(1) Device 0 Function 0 - is correct.<p>bodgy
On a clear disk you can seek forever.
Re: PCI Bus 1
Yeah its under windows properties. Thanks for the help. Not knowing for sure just bothers me too much :p
Re: PCI Bus 1
PCI and AGP have the same exact physical
connections, so the bus can have dual function
for a specific configuration.<p>The differences come in protocal and speed.<p>AGP has a faster bus clock and more burst
data per transfer, but may contain only 1
bus master.<p>Most chipsets define 2 or more PCI busses
and dedicate one to both PCI and AGP specs.
