I'm looking for assistance in "upgrading" a control board from soldered components to a microcontroller. I am not electrically gifted but would like to talk to someone that can assist me in component layout and programming of the microcontroller. I have a schematic and working unit as a start.
Helpful guidance would be appreciated - and remunerated.

Post the schematic and let us have a look.
There is only one correct answer, mine.

Yup, perhaps a greater description of what you need the controller to controll would help.
Anyhoo, I do commission work - see my webpage, but ignore the home page - it's been GOT AT

and is all skew whiff.

what micro are you using? most data sheets tell you how to layout the board.. or have a demo you can look at for free.
