VB1 Help file

Post by CeaSaR »

I bought a bunch of disks at a yard sale several years ago and some of them had VB1 on them. I had always wanted VB so I VirusScanned them and installed it. The whole program works except for the fact that the help file says it isn't a Windows Help file or is corrupt. Someone on another list told me that VB1 is a DOS version, but it says that it must be run under Windows, so I am assuming that this particular version IS for Windows. Does anyone out there have this Help file? I could really use it as the only instruction I have is from the tutorials - no help, no instruction book.
Thanks,

VB1 is probably for windows 3.1
Help file format changed from then.
Just guessing.

I have VB1 installed on an old 386SX running DOS 6.x and Win3.1 and it gives me the error. So does Win98. I'm thinking it is corrupt.
CeaSaR

I think I found the help I need HERE. Anyone else seeking similar help for VB-DOS through VB4 should look at that site.
CeaSaR
