Post by Ed446 »

I have a drive that has Win Cleaner on it in CDFS format. I would like to erase it so I can re use it.
Thanks Edwin

Is it useable as a regular mass storage device currently? I.e., can you copy a file on and off there? If so, just erase Win Cleaner and you are good to go. If not, right click the drive and you should have the option to format the drive. Follow the prompts and you'll be good to go.

Anything I try, I get the message access denied. That is why I put the file format in my info request.

What kind of drive? A hard drive? A thumb (flash) drive? A thumb (static RAM plus coin cell) drive?

Those are more or less random access for reading or writing.

Or maybe a R/W CDROM drive? With what kind of disc inside?

Your mention of CDFS suggests an answer you won't like.
