looking for a PC alarm clock..

Post by dacflyer »

looking for a PC alarm clock program with certain features..

does anyone know of one that can start internet radio via just a web address?
and also able to play a list of MP3's

i have seen programs that play mp3's only, but it did not say if it plays a single one or a list.

I have seen a few freeware programs out there that allow you to run a program at a set time, none to open specific web pages, but I cant rember the name saw them on Cnet.

I offer you a solution that doesnt require software.

go into control panel , click performance and maintanance, click scheduled task, click add a task, click browse, find internet expolerer,

fallow direction inside to set up the times you want this program to run, This will require you to set your home page as the Internet radio.

I would not recomend this as a reliable alarm,
if the internet page does not load correctly there is nothing there to tell it to reload, And you know the net never seems to work when your counting on it.

Sorry I couldnt be of more help, Maybe a hacker/programmer will answer this and give some tips on something out there or mods to what is.

Me agian
forgot

if you have one that allows mp3, (I may have used it)
where youe enter the mp3 file you can enter any file, such as a windows media playlist. you just create a play list in WMP if think they store the files in MY music or some such place, find that playlist file and use the alarm to open it and what ever music is in that playlist will auto open and play in WMP
