I have over 6 GB of files with extension .nbz called ARCNB*, with the * being a number 0, 1, 2, etc. Do I need these? Apparently backup files, but for what? Does Windows automatically create these files, and can I safely delete them?
Hard drive getting full, and would like to make more room.

These are your backup files, to be restored with the ArcSoft software or a special utility.

Ok, and thanks for the link sofaspud, but do I need those files?
Can I save them to an external hard drive, for example, and free up space on my C drive?

Re: ArcSoft Total Media Backup
You should double-check, but from what I gather the *.nbz file is a proprietary compressed file, zipped up to
protect the backups from deletion or malware attack. As such, they're safe to move to external storage.
And I don't what the files contain, but you may only need to save the newest file of the bunch.
